Crnogorski olimpijski komitet je Nacionalni olimpijski komitet koji predstavlja Crnu Goru. Odgovorna je za promociju olimpijskih ideala i za osiguravanje da Crna Gora bude zastupljena sa sportistima na Olimpijskim igrama i drugim multi-sportskim događajima. Predsjednik odbora, od januara 2008. godine, je Dušan Simonović.
Članovi odbora su 20 sportskih saveza koji biraju Izvršno vijeće sastavljeno od predsjednika i šesnaest članova.
COK organizuje Igre malih država Evrope 2019. u Budvi.
Crna Gora je prvi put samostalno učestvovala na Letnjim olimpijskim igrama, održanim u Pekingu 2008. dotada su njeni predstavnici nastupali kao deo različitih jugoslovenskih državnih zajednica. Na Zimskim olimpijskim igrama debitovala je 2010. u Vankuveru.
Prvu medalju – srebrnu u ženskom rukometu – osvojila je 2012. na Olimpijskim igrama u Londonu.
Olimpijske igre se održavaju od 23. jula do 8. avgusta.Ženska rukometna reprezentacija Crne Gore treći put će igrati na Olimpijskim igrama.
Međunarodni olimpijski komitet, Međunarodni paraolimpijski komitet, Organizacioni odbor Tokio 2020, vlasti grada Tokija i japanska vlada su dogovorili nove datume za XXXII Letnje olimpijske igre. Olimpijske igre Tokio 2020 održaće se u periodu od 23. jula do 08. avgusta 2021. godine.
Predstavnici vodećih organizacija razgovarali su putem video poziva, a razgovoru su se priključili i predsednik MOK-a Tomas Bah, predsednik Organizacionog komiteta Olimpijskih igara u Tokiju 2020 Mori Ioširo, guverner Tokija Koike Iuriko i olimpijski i paraolimpijski ministar Hašimoto Seiko kako bi zajedno dogovorili nove datume.
Ova odluka donesena je na osnovu glavnih razmatranja i u skladu sa principima koje je Izvršni odbor MOK-a utvrdio 17. marta 2020. godine. Lideri vodećih organizacija na današnjem sastanku podržali su sve Međunarodne letnje olimpijske federacije i sve Nacionalne olimpijske komitete da zaštite zdravlje sportista i svih koji su uključeni u organizaciju Igara, kao i da podrže suzbijanje koronavirusa i da osiguraju interese sportista i olimpijskog pokreta.
Novi datumi daće svim zdravstvenim organizacijama i svima koji su uključeni u organizaciju Igara maksimalno vremena da se bave promenljivom situacijom i promenama koje izaziva pandemija koronavirusa. Novi datumi, tačno godinu dana pre prvobitno planiranih za 2020. godinu takođe imaju dodatnu korist da se izmene sportskog kalendara izazvani odlaganjem Igara svedu na minimum u interesu sportista. Pored toga, pružiće dovoljno vremena za završetak procesa kvalifikacija.

Olympic Games, Olympic Committee of Montenegro
The Montenegrin Olympic Committee is the National Olympic Committee representing Montenegro. It is responsible for promoting Olympic ideals and ensuring that Montenegro is represented with athletes at the Olympic Games and other multi-sporting events. The International Olympic Committee, the International Paralympic Committee, the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee, the Tokyo city authorities and the Japanese government have agreed on new dates for the XXXII Summer Olympic Games. The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games will be held from July 23 to August 8, 2021.
Representatives of leading organizations spoke via video call, and were joined by IOC President Thomas Bach, Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games Organizing Committee President Mori Yoshiro, Tokyo Governor Koike Iuriko and Olympic and Paralympic Minister Hashimoto Seiko to agree on new dates.
This decision was made on the basis of the main considerations and in accordance with the principles established by the IOC Executive Board on March 17, 2020. At today’s meeting, the leaders of the leading organizations supported all the International Summer Olympic Federations and all the National Olympic Committees to protect the health of athletes and all those involved in the organization of the Games, as well as to support coronavirus control and ensure the interests of athletes and the Olympic movement.
The new dates will give all health organizations and everyone involved in the organization of the Games maximum time to deal with the changing situation and changes caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The new dates, exactly one year before originally planned for 2020, also have the added benefit of minimizing the changes to the sports calendar caused by the postponement of the Games in the interest of athletes. In addition, it will provide sufficient time to complete the qualification process.
